based care provider whose principal activity is the provision of home
care and support services for the elderly and individuals with
disabilities in Tallaght and adjacent areas.
JOB PURPOSE
Home Care Services, Meals on Wheels, Day Care Centre services and
Seniors Alert Scheme are core services delivered by Trustus across the
South Dublin County area. The Senior Manager - Operations and Service
Delivery will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for the
day to day operations of these services ensuring a quality experience
for our clients will be at the centre of each service. In addition,
the post holder will proactively identify opportunities for service
delivery improvement.
PERSON SPECIFICATION SENIOR MANAGER - OPERATIONS AND SERVICE DELIVERY
* Minimum of 5 years in a hands on, frontline operations management
role, ideally within the care or a related sector and have familiarity
with HIQA standards
* Have a strong track record of achieving agreed KPIs?and meeting
programme targets
* Hold Level 7 or higher third level qualification in a relevant
discipline
* Can demonstrate strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to
manage and motivate large, geographically dispersed multi-disciplinary
teams, whilst promoting a positive team environment
* Has extensive experience of work scheduling, rostering and
contingency planning
* Can show a strong track record of monitoring service delivery to
clients and initiating service improvements that have a positive
impact on the client experience
* Must demonstrate flexibility, versatility and an ability to manage
large, multi-disciplinary teams through periods of change
* Can maintain a high level of professionalism when working under
pressure
* Has excellent people skills and an ability to communicate
effectively, in a professional manner with a broad range of
stakeholders, both internal and external
* Experience in managing budgets, analysing and extracting data and
report writing
* Can demonstrate a good understanding of the home care sector and
the diverse?needs of clients
